100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), mostly from very old vines - aged between 60 and 90 years old - from unique vineyards in La Horra and La Aguilera. The harvest is done by hand, in small boxes of 15 kilos and we inspect meticulously, bunch by bunch, in a selection table. Temperate winter with rains at the end of the season, which lasted during the spring. Budding takes place in an environment humid and with mild temperatures. There are some very localized spring frosts.
In the months of June and July we continue with some occasional rains and contained temperatures. August begins with a heat wave followed by a warm September, in which there were some showers that led to an excellent ripening of the grapes.
Tasting Notes Aalto PS
Wine of an intense red color, it presents a wide range of aromas, from red fruit and fresh aromas to the nuances of the compote fruits, with elegant spicy notes provided by the barrel. The palate is powerful, filling it with volume and freshness in a harmonious way.
