Maturana ink is a variety cultivated since antiquity, although so marginally which became virtually extinct. Our ink Maturana proceeds of 17 strains found in an old vineyard of Navarrete, La Rioja, and its development was also part of the research project for the recovery of vine varieties minority native in the D. Our Maturana ink vineyards are planted in 1997.
Our vineyards of Maturana ink produce clusters of small size, its grapes have a high acidity, a high intensity of color and an important tannic structure, as well as good resistance to diseases of the vine. Our vineyard of Maturana ink produces 5,500 kg. of grapes per hectare.
