General information

With this wine we recover the historical greatness of the Rioja Gran Reserva, leading this new generation of wines that has only been made in 2001, 2005, 2007 and 2009, magical vintages that have helped us to put it at the head of the Great Reserves of our denomination .VariedadesTempranillo 90% and Garnacha 10% from our own vineyards in Badarán.Type of Elaboration.Only a few years throughout the life of a vineyard are suitable for the elaboration of a Gran Reserva de Rioja wine. They are "magical" vintages in which the grape evolves perfectly, knowing that it will become a historic year until the hand of the winemaker and experience make it an immortal wine.

Made with Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes, selected from low production strains of more than 50 years that have fermented in new American Oak barrels for 8 months, followed by aging for 24 months in new French Oak barrels that are removed when the wine is it is extracted from them.

Tasting Notes Martinez Alesanco gran reserva

Intense maroon color and deep layer with slight nuances of aging. Enormous aromatic complexity, very ripe red berries wrapped in fine toasts. In the mouth it is a sweet wine, red berries jam, wrapped in nuances of cocoa and vanilla as a result of its aging in the barrel. Long aftertaste with subtle and complex wood tones that let you taste the ripe fruit that floods the palate as it passes.
