100 % Tempranillo. Finca La Veguilla, 16.5 Has., Located in the surroundings of San Vicente de la Sonsierra. Clay-calcareous soil, with areas of fine pebble on the surface. High planting density and low production per hectare. Organic fertilizer. Biodynamic viticulture. Year of plantation: 1975. Manual destemming, grain by grain. Pre-fermentative cold maceration. Fermented in small 5-hectoliter oak vats. Traditional treading twice a day. Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels. Aged for 24 months in a new French oak barrel.
Tasting Notes Amancio
Intense cherry. Notes of ripe fruit, blackberry, cherry, plum, raisins, with mineral traces, liquor, and strong aromas of toast. On the palate it is powerful, tasty, with well-marked tannins, great length, minerality and reminiscences of ripe fruit.
