General information
Grapes from centuries-old pre-phylloxera vineyards in Ribera del Duero located on soils with additional characteristics (soils of sandstones and alluvium complemented by limestone soils at high altitudes) combine their best qualities, achieving a spectacular result.
When the grapes reached the optimum degree of maturity, they were harvested by hand with a meticulous selection and brought to the winery in boxes of no more than 15 kilograms, where the bunches were selected to cover them with their own scrape and proceeding daily with a light step before from the start of alcoholic fermentation.
After the start of the fermentation, in addition to the treading of the clusters, the necessary punching was performed 18 days after the incubation, the wine was discovered and introduced in 14 new French oak barrels from different forests, to achieve the aromatic complexity that characterizes it; the aging in barrels lasted from mid-October 2010 to June 2012, when the wine was bottled
