General Information

Production 680.000 Bordeaux bottles of 75 cl. Also available in 37,5 cl, Magnum, 3L, 5L, 9L, 15L and 27L.The Tempranillo variety used to make this wine is 80% from the La Maquinilla vineyard, the oldest in our region, La Planta. It is grown at an altitude of 911 metres in clay-limestone soils, with the limestone parent rock at one metre above sea level, together with 20% of grapes from hundred-year-old vineyards with pebble and sandy soils in the area of the province of Burgos. In mid-October, once the grapes have reached the optimum point of ripeness, they are harvested in 15kg crates, then passed through a selection table and de-stemmed until they are placed in stainless steel vats, where, after a few days of cold maceration, they will ferment at a maximum temperature of 27ºC. An ageing process of 16 months in barrels, 60% French oak and 40% American oak, makes this a very elegant wine,

Tasting Notes Arzuaga crianza

Clean and bright, cherry red with violet hues, powerful nose with a high aromatic diversity, predominantly ripe red fruits, with spicy and balsamic notes and a roasted finish, large volume in the mouth, providing soft and honeyed sensations that last over time thanks to its great breadth and length. The wine in the mouth is a faithful reminder of such a complex nose. These connotations give elegance and personality to the wine
