El viñedo sobre el que se sustenta Azpilicueta es el viñedo de Fuenmayor. Cultivamos más de 800 hectáreas en sus diferentes parajes.El viñedo en Fuenmayor se implanta en una topografía irregular, a diversas altitudes, en una gran mezcla de suelos, con diferentes orientaciones. Esto se traduce en muchos microclimas y, consecuentemente, en que una misma variedad se exprese de formas muy diferentes.De todas las parcelas, seleccionamos cada añada las que van a producir las uvas pare elaborar los vinos Azpilicueta.
Controlamos cada una de las parcelas, su poda, la evolución de su ciclo vegetativo, el avance de la madurez, catamos sus uvas y el momento de la vendimia se determina para cada parcela.

cherry red, very vibrant, very attractive. It leaves us expectant at what we will feel when we smell and have the wine in our mouth, deliciously fruity. And the fruit is the first thing that we are going to capture in this wine: cherry, plum, blackberry, blueberry, a slight note of strawberry, ... If we go deeper we will find a floral side, a little licorice. The spices given by the wood during its aging appear later: cloves, pepper, nutmeg, a touch of vanilla, another of cocoa, ... The aging is treated with subtlety, with elegance, so that it is one more component of this wine, without highlighting.And to finish his mouth, deliciosa, perfumada, suave, larguísima.
