90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano.
All the grapes of the Tempranillo and Graciano varieties come from a selection of the different plots of the Finca El Estanque, a 60-hectare vineyard that the winery owns in the best terroir of Haro.
Manual. It began in mid-October for the Tempranillo variety and at the end of the month for the Graciano variety.
Elaborated in concrete tanks. After a light
destemmed and crushed, the must is macerated in contact with the skins. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 30 ºC for thirteen days.
It remains for 24 months in French and American oak barrels. Refinement in bottle for 12 months.
Medium intensity cherry red colour with a brick edge that denotes its ageing in oak barrels. Aromas of ripe black fruit, toffee and balsamic, with slight mineral notes. In the mouth it shows a good structure. It is fresh, with a silky, elegant palate and a long, persistent finish.
