A fresh and elegant grape, with a remarkable aptitude for aging, together with the good weather that throughout the cycle, favored the excellent vegetative and sanitary state of the vineyard, allowed a correct maturational balance to be achieved in all the vineyards, at which made an exceptionally favorable month of September decisively for the production of high-quality wines.
The vineyard Calcareous and fresh soils of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, plots of Gallomate, San Martín and La Rad. Old vineyards between 25 and 80 years old, in glass, of limited production and small grapes. A peculiar and excellent soil for an austere vineyard in an almost mountain climate.
The wine CM is a race wine of the Tempranillo variety, from San Vicente de la Sonsierra (Rioja). These vineyards between 25 and 80 years old are located in the highest area of the Sonsierra, with a production between 3,000 and 5,000 kg per hectare. The grape with which this wine is made has been selected and picked by hand in boxes of less than 12 kg.
Tasting Notes CM Carlos Moro
Intense and lively cherry color. Clean and bright on the nose, its barrel notes stand out (smoked) that give way to ripe sour fruits (raspberries and strawberries). On the palate it has very good structure, notable acidity and good balance with a predominance of elegant toasted notes.
