The Maturana Tinta is a native variety from La Rioja that is not cultivated anywhere else in the world. Recovered after years of work and research, it presents a small and compact bunch, as well as small berries. Very sensitive to botrytis, budding is late, but ripening is early. Manual harvest in small boxes of ten kilograms of capacity. Cooling in a cold room until the temperature of the grape reaches 3 ° C. Double selection of bunches and grains, with a soft destemming and crushing.
Tasting Notes Vivanco Collection Maturana red parcels
Very deep red-purple color, with a very strong violet rim. Spicy aromas, with black fruit, pepper, cloves, mulberry leaves, all on a mineral and undergrowth background. In the mouth it is very balsamic, mineral, with also spicy sensations (pepper, rose flower, cumin, clove is repeated), with an elegant, vibrant and long aftertaste.
