Characteristics

Garnacha Blanca comes from the estate of San Gregorio Encina, planted in 1980 with calcareous clay soils. We selected the malvasía from the Las Anchas estate of 1930 with alluvial, stony and sandy soils. The viura comes from the alluvial and old Lentisco estate, from the stony San Gregorio La Tabla estate and from the Santa María estate. They are between 35 and 40 years old. They are aged on their lees, which are removed twice a week, until 6 or 7 months later we decide to transfer them by tasting and take the wine back to deposit. None of the wines will undergo the second fermentation, called malolactic, because we seek to preserve that acidity.

Tasting Notes  Contino white

Yellow with slightly golden meniscus. Unctuous in agitation. Clean and bright. Measured and elegant wood. Tear fine and dense. Nose with subtle contributions of yellow fruit, citrus and toasted nuts. In mouth, fleshy, shows volume and unctuosity. Very good acidity and a silky tannin. Fruity and fresh aftertaste.
