General information
Made from Tempranillo grapes and other varieties, all of them from the vineyard of our Benedictine Monastery, planted in 1985. Raised for 18 months in new French oak barrels and then 6 months in 10,000 liter French oak “foudres”.
Tasting Notes Finca Monasterio
With an intense cherry color, the nose is dominated by aromas of fruit in jam and balsamic woods with hints of infusions and tea, coconut, lactic notes, cocoa and spices. The palate has a great structure, tasty, balanced and elegant.

Organic Rioja wine made from grapes of the Tempranillo and Garnacha Tinta varieties, located in small plots in the town of Badarán planted in 1940 and 2007. Harvested by hand at their optimum ripeness at the end of September and the beginning of October 2015 Vinification is carried out in small production tanks, carrying out a classic alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures of 22-24ºC, with gentle pumping over and daily manual, during the first stages of fermentation. Being able to respect the fresh and fruity aromas of the Garnacha and without maceration to avoid unnecessary extractions, respecting the grape as in a traditional elaboration. After fermentation, we bleed the tanks to extract, by the simple force of gravity, the highest quality wine, helping it later with a traditional crushing of the grape without the need to subject it to pressing.Tasting Notes Martinez Alesanco Ecologico
View: Bright cherry red with garnet reflections. Clean and upper middle layer. Smell: Fresh, aromatic where the aromas of red and black fruits stand out, balsamic, menthol notes, sweet spicy notes and a background of red licorice along with soft toasts. Mouth: In the mouth, it maintains the fruit and the creamy notes, ripe tannin, good acidity and a long finish where joint notes of fruit and barrel come back.

85% Tempranillo and 15% Graciano, the result of a selection of vines from 40 to 60 years old located in our "Viña Lanciano" estate. Hand-picked and subsequently selected on selection tables by cluster and by grain so that only those that are in perfect condition they manage to go to the next phase in the elaboration. Alcoholic fermentation in small frustoconical deposits to guarantee maximum color extraction. Malolactic fermentation in new very fine grain French oak barrels from the Tronçais and Jupille forests. AGING: In new very fine grain French oak barrels from the Tronçaisy and Allier forests for 24 months. Ripe cherry color, bright and well covered. Very complex and elegant nose, highlights the notes of red fruit in liqueur, blackberries, along with pastry and balsamic notes. Violet floral aromas. Spicy touches of nutmeg and cinnamon, with some smoked. Mineral memories are also appreciated, due to the nature of the soil of our farm "Viña Lanciano". A multitude of sensations erupt in the mouth. Very structured, silky, with a great body. It leaves a pleasant memory for a long time.

A fresh and elegant grape, with a remarkable aptitude for aging, together with the good weather that throughout the cycle, favored the excellent vegetative and sanitary state of the vineyard, allowed a correct maturational balance to be achieved in all the vineyards, at which made an exceptionally favorable month of September decisively for the production of high-quality wines. The vineyard Calcareous and fresh soils of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, plots of Gallomate, San Martín and La Rad. Old vineyards between 25 and 80 years old, in glass, of limited production and small grapes. A peculiar and excellent soil for an austere vineyard in an almost mountain climate. The wine CM is a race wine of the Tempranillo variety, from San Vicente de la Sonsierra (Rioja). These vineyards between 25 and 80 years old are located in the highest area of the Sonsierra, with a production between 3,000 and 5,000 kg per hectare. Intense and lively cherry color. Clean and bright on the nose, its barrel notes stand out (smoked) that give way to ripe sour fruits (raspberries and strawberries). On the palate it has very good structure, notable acidity and good balance with a predominance of elegant toasted notes.
