Elaboration: Manual harvest in boxes of 12 kg of grapes from vineyards aged between 25 and 40 years, controlled temperature prior to fermentation in cold rooms specially designed for this purpose during a period of three months.
24-hour period (4-6 degrees). Selection of grapes at the table and separation of shoulders and tips. This wine is elaborated from the destemmed shoulders. Fermentation in small stainless steel tanks and 7000 French oak vats.
Tasting Notes Fincas de Ganuza
A red wine with a deep cherry red colour, with intense and elegant aromas of ripe red fruits and many spicy notes. In the mouth it is a long wine with a great amount of flavours, with a long run and a deep and pleasant finish. It presents sensory characters that reflect very well its microclimate within the northernmost area of La Rioja and genuine of its origin.
