General information
Made with grapes of the Tempranillo 80% variety, from the foothills of the Sierra Cantabria and from vineyards adjacent to the lower course of the Najerilla River (Uruñuela and Torremontalbo). It also has a 20% of Garnacha from the upper Najerilla area (Badarán).
HARVESTING: Manual in 200 kg boxes, selection of clusters in the cellar. PREPARATION: 3 days of cold pre-fermentation maceration, carrying out daily pump-overs and delestage during fermentation at controlled temperatures, in conical stainless steel tanks. Aged for 12 months in mostly American oak barrels. SOIL: This wine uses grapes from the three soils with which we work: alluvial (lower course of the Najerilla), clay-calcareous (Sierra Cantabria skirt) and clay-ferrous ( Alto Najerilla)
