Vineyards of Tempranillo 100% of vines grown in glass over 30 years, located in the foothills of the Sierra Cantabria and around the lower course of the Najerilla river.
3 days of cold pre-fermentation maceration, with daily pumping over and delestage during fermentation at controlled temperatures, in conical stainless steel tanks. Aged for 18 months in Bordeaux barrels: 50% American oak and 50% of new French oak and two years old. Subsequent stay in a bottle rack for two years. Vineyards grown on alluvial soils and calcareous clay: in the former we obtain grapes with greater maturity and elegance, the latter provide the wines with greater structure and silkiness.
Tasting Notes Gomez Cruzado reserve
Clean and bright, ruby red color. High intensity on the nose, the tertiary aromas of the aging stand out: spices, cocoa, orange peel. It still has fruity aromas typical of the variety: black fruit and candied fruit. The palate is round, easy to drink, with good acidity, soft tannins and a fruity aftertaste.
