VARIETIES:

MEANING:
Historically, in Bodegas LAN, deposit number 12 housed wines that stood out for their organoleptic qualities. Hence its name, D-12.

WINE MAKING:
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of less than 25º C, in order to maintain its full aromatic potential and achieve optimum colour extraction.
Malolactic fermentation is carried out on lees in steel tanks, with periodic pumping over and micro-oxygenation to stabilise the colour and achieve greater smoothness in the mouth.

AGEING:
Aging for 12 months in new American oak barrels from the Appalachian (65%) and French oak from the forests of Chateauroux and Loches (35%). Selected extra-fine grain wood and dried naturally for 36 months to achieve a fine and elegant wood, which is ideally integrated with the wine.

In mixed oak barrels (American and French) for 14 months, followed by 9 months of refining in the bottle.
