General information
Selection of old vineyards of Tempranillo and Graciano of low production settled in poor lands of the terraces of the Ebro around San Vicente de la Sonsierra. Manual harvest during the second half of October.
Tasting Notes López de Haro Gran Reserva
Bright cherry red color, medium layer and edging with light tile tones. High aromatic intensity, clean and frank. The nose is complex with aromas of coffee, vanilla, roasted and balsamic integrated on an intense background of ripe fruit. In the elegant and round mouth, well balanced, velvety entry followed by a pleasant acidity and a silky and enveloping finish of its noble and mature tannins. Long aftertaste, spicy, balsamic memories and candied fruit.

The grapes come from the “Cuesta la Reina” estate owned by the winery with 80-year-old vineyards. The manual harvest was carried out in the month of October. No pumping system was used in the process, only gravity so as not to damage the fruit. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts from the vineyard itself, controlling the temperature. The total duration of the maceration was 32 days. Once uncubated, in December, the wine went to French Allier oak and Romanian oak barrels where it was racked 5 times.
It was bottled in June (2 years later), remaining in the bottle for 12 months before being put on sale. With the word Vidau our ancestors called those farms with vines of different varieties. One word, a concept that Bodegas Escudero updates from the past and projects into the future. From the best selection of the most mature grapes from these old vineyards, a grateful and sincere wine emerges, very complex and very natural. A wine that sinks into the roots of tradition and evokes in time the memory of everything that lasts.
Tasting Notes Vidau red
Very covered cherry red color. Intense aromas with notes of ripe fruits, spices, balsamic and well assembled wood. Meaty and tasty on the palate, well balanced, and tannic. Long finish full of nuances with a predominance of ripe fruit and notes of aging.

85% Tempranillo and 15% Graciano, the result of a selection of vines from 40 to 60 years old located in our "Viña Lanciano" estate. Hand-picked and subsequently selected on selection tables by cluster and by grain so that only those that are in perfect condition they manage to go to the next phase in the elaboration. Alcoholic fermentation in small frustoconical deposits to guarantee maximum color extraction. Malolactic fermentation in new very fine grain French oak barrels from the Tronçais and Jupille forests. AGING: In new very fine grain French oak barrels from the Tronçaisy and Allier forests for 24 months. Subsequently, it remains for 20 months in the bottle, refining its aromas and rounding out its palate.Culmen Tasting Notes
Ripe cherry color, bright and very covered. Very complex and elegant nose, highlights the notes of red fruit in liquor, blackberries, along with notes of pastry and balsamic. Violet type floral aromas. Spicy touches of nutmeg and cinnamon, with some smoked notes. Mineral hints are also appreciated, due to the nature of the soil of our “Viña Lanciano” estate. A multitude of sensations explode in the mouth. Very structured, silky, with great body. Leave a pleasant memory for a very long time.
