HISTORIA. The word’Malleolus’ comes from Latin and means’majuelo’, the name given to the vineyards in Pesquera de Duero. To make this wine, they have selected grapes from hawthorns between 25 and 75 years of age, which are grown in a glass and trellis system.
ELABORACIÓN. The wine has remained 18 days macerated with the skins and aged for 18 months in oak barrels fran´ces Allier until bottling.
CATA. Malleolus offers us, faithful to what we found in the 2014 harvest, a wine that was full and very direct from the beginning, which reverses previous vintages that needed more time for integration. What are we going to find in our glass? An endless number of spicy aromas that appear with oxygenation, notes of cloves, leaves, marked hibiscus pepper and pink pepper, aromas of bush like thyme, also appears the freshness of eucalyptus to increase the weight of its black fruit of excellent ripeness. In the mouth it offers us a leap of quality providing a very fine and elegant profile, | EVOLUTION. From 6 to 8 years old.
