Winter was mild and spring brief, with an advance of budding, flowering and fruit set. High temperatures and low rainfall distinguished a vintage of lower yields from the frosts of April 27 and 28. The summer storms of July and August cooled the vines at the end of maturation. The earliest harvest to date began on September 5 at the La Lengua vineyard.
Tasting Notes Mauro
Lush nose with a dominant presence of generous red fruit on a floral background. Oily and delicate with impeccable maturity of well-sifted tannins that wrap up an opulent and balanced set.
