A unique and original wine, designed at the foot of the vineyard and made "a la carte". The Maturana Tinta variety will set a benchmark in the world of wine. It comes from our farm "el Hombo" in Badarán, La Rioja. Planted on a clay-calcareous soil and an altitude of 700m. Fermentation and maceration in 225 liter barrels. After a meticulous elaboration and a delicate pressing, the wine rests in Americann oak barrels or until refined, seeking the balance and personality of the "terroir", in addition to a subsequent passage to new European oak barrels where it will take place malolactic fermentation and aging.
Tasting Notes Martinez Alesanco nothing to see
View: it has a very intense cherry red color with violet hints that indicates that the wine still maintains its youth.
Smell: A still glass is an explosion of nuances and subtle fragrances. As we oxygenate the wine, extraordinarily fruity aromas appear, ripe and black fruit such as blackcurrant, blackberry, fine notes of violet flower, all accompanied by smoked sweets and accompanied by a background of aromatic herbs.
Mouth: ample and voluminous attack, fresh and fruity with those mineral notes that are so characteristic of our terroir. Sweet notes, cocoa, mentholated, fatty and sweet tannins very fused with the wood and a long and persistent finish that invites you to continue drinking.
