General information
Selection of the grapes from three vineyards and minimalist vinification separately. Pre-fermentative maceration of the stemmed grape, without squeezing at a controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation in barrels, followed by aging for 18 months in the same new fine-grained French oak barrels, with periodic racking. Natural stabilization of the wine during the barrel aging process. Unfiltered bottling to respect all the natural qualities of the wine.
Tasting Notes Oscar Tobia reserve
It is clean and bright, intense cherry red color with garnet edges. Intense and elegant symphony of aromas: ripe black fruit, sour cherries and licorice. Spicy notes such as black pepper, nutmeg and cloves appear next, followed by hints of tobacco leaves and all on a fragrant background of toffee and smoked. The palate is friendly, velvety, and voluptuous. Fleshy, round, full and glyceric. Very enveloping sensation in the mouth. Ripe with a very long and persistent finish. Very polished tannins and a very spicy aftertaste.
