Made exclusively with grapes of the Tempranillo variety, harvested manually and selected on a classification table. Bordeaux-style production, with de-stemming and crushing of clusters and fermentation in stainless steel tanks of small capacity at controlled temperature. Aged for 12 months in semi-new barrels American and French oak and a subsequent stay in the bottle of another 12 months at least.

General informationOrigin: Made from the selection of Tempranillo varieties from places chosen for generations in Rioja Alta, in the municipality of Fuenmayor.Vinification: Fermented with whole grapes and natural decantation, for subsequent aging in large wooden barrels for several years. Finally, it finishes its aging process in the bottle, where it will remain a minimum of one year before being marketed.
Tasting notes vineyard Valoria gran reservaGarnet cherry color with tile trim, which indicates its great old age. It is elegant and powerful on the nose, with aromas of pepper, spices and ripe red fruits. Its slight tannic expression on the palate and its long aftertaste are surprising.

The grapes come from the oldest vineyards between 80 and 100 years old from the “Cuesta la Reina” estate owned by the family for four generations. The manual harvest was carried out in the month of October. No pumping system was used in the process, only gravity to avoid damaging the fruit.
The fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts from the vineyard itself, controlling the temperature at 30ºC. The total duration of the maceration was 32 days. Once uncovered, the wine was transferred to French Allier and Romanian oak barrels, where it was racked 5 times. It was bottled in June (2 years later), remaining in the bottle for 12 months before being put on sale.

Very covered cherry red color. Fine aromas and elegant creamy toasted aromas and ripe fruit, with a lot of expression and complexity. In the mouth it is powerful, fleshy and round, very rich in nuances, complex and elegant aftertaste.
