General information
Finca wine made with Tinta Fina from a single plot (La Cruz) in the highest areas of Ribera del Duero. The manual harvest gives way to long and intense macerations and a 15-month aging in French oak barrels. Subsequent maturation in a wooden vat for perfect assembly. We are dealing with a very complex and intense wine in each and every one of the tasting phases.
Tasting Notes Pico de Luyas
Very dark cherry color with a garnet rim. Clean and bright. Abundant, thick, slow and tinted stain. On the nose it has very good intensity, it is a fruity bomb, predominantly black fruit, blackberries, cherries and also liquorice, under a toasted and earthy background due to the influence of the extremely soil. Calcareous In the mouth it is wide, powerful, sweet, with structure and a marked but integrated acidity to support the alcoholic degree. Very good quality tannins, totally round and fatty. It was a very long wine with enormous persistence.
