As with all TEMPOS Vega Sicilia wines, the harvest is carried out manually in 12-kg boxes and the grapes, once placed in the cellar, go through the cold chamber for 12 hours in order to preserve fruit intensity.
Apart from the selection made in the vineyard, a double selection is made in the winery. The first eliminated those clusters that have been misleading from the field and the second affects the defective berries that are in optimal clusters. Cold maceration is carried out for 5 days before fermentation in the oak vats.
Malolactic fermentation carried out in wood at 100% and aging in French 70% and American 30% for 12 months.
Tasting Notes Pintia
They are wines of great intensity of color and depth, cherry red tone with cardinal edges. The nose is broad, very clean, expressive and elegant, with great fruit intensity, wrapped in wood, subtle and of great quality. The palate offers great structure, a good tannic presence and a very pleasant, fresh and persistent mid palate. Floral memories in retronasal.
