General information

In the production of the Gran Reserva, Riscal uses grapes from old vines over 80 years old, from its own productions or purchased from local fixed winegrowers, once the wine has been selected to make the Gran Reserva
After the unification of the harvest, it is transferred to French oak barrels, where it will remain between two and a half and three years, plus another three years in the bottle before its commercialization.

Tasting notes marques de riscal gran reserva

Intense cherry red color, with violet iridescences. On the nose it expresses a complex, balsamic aromatic intensity, in perfect balance between the fruit aromas and the roasted notes of light toasting reminiscent of fine woods. On the palate it is unctuous, in harmony with the fruit, with a good tannic concentration, round and with a persistent finish.
