It comes from a selection of our vineyards in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, with clayey-calcareous soils and a high density of plantation. It is elaborated only in propitious vintages.
Only with the use of autochthonous yeasts, the alcoholic fermentation lasts approximately 14 days, and the malolactic fermentation takes place naturally. It remains 36 months in American oak barrels of an average age of 4-5 years, receiving 6 rackings by the traditional method of gravity and decantation, and then rests in bottle for a minimum of 18 months.
Variety: 95% Tempranillo – 5% Graciano and Garnacha
Alcohol Content: 13.6%.
Color: Intense cherry and orange rim, atejado.
Aromas: Smooth aromas of vanilla, with retronasal character, notes of leather, tobacco and prune.
Mouth: Elegant, ripe fruit, full-bodied, tasty, toffee notes, long.

Vidau red vintage 2005
I. variety: 100% Vidau.
II. Alcoholic GRADE: 14% Vol.
III. Crianza: 10 months in French oak barrels.
IV. ELABORATION: The grape comes from payments "Cost the Queen" property of the winery with vineyards of 80 years of age average. Manual harvest is conducted in the month of October. In the process any pumping system, single gravity was used to prevent damage to the fruit. The fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts of the own vineyard, controlling the temperature. The total duration of maceration was 32 days. Once racked, in December, the wine became French Allier oak barrels and Romanian oak was where racked on 5 occasions. Bottled in June (2 years later), remaining 12 months in bottle before sale.
V. Red tasting cherry very covered. Intense aroma with notes
of ripe fruit, spices, Balsamic and wood well assembled. Meaty and flavorful on the palate, well balanced and tannic. Long finish, nuanced with predominance of ripe fruit and notes of aging.
