Selection and marking of the strains whose production convinces us. Elaboration in 3500 l tanks. French oak. Cold maceration for 3 days at 9º-10ºC, with long pump-overs. On the 4th day, the fermentation begins for 15 days at a controlled temperature (25-27ºC) to preserve the primary aromas. After this, it is kept in the tanks, macerating for 6 days with a daily hatching. Malolactic fermentation in barrels.
15 months in new French oak barrels.

Linde ”term or line that separates some inheritances from others. The plots bordering the Nuestra Señora de Remelluri Farm belong to two of the most interesting wine-growing municipalities of La Rioja, Labastida and San Vicente de la Sonsierra. Some of the best winegrowers from these two towns have brought grapes to our winery for many years. Since the 2009 harvest these grapes have been separated from the grapes on the farm and are destined for two new wines, “Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de Labastida” and “Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de San Vicente”, thus two new wines are born that reflect these towns unique and different. VINIFICATION: Traditional preparation stemmed (100 %) Alcoholic fermentation for 9 days with autochthonous yeast selected from our own vineyards, temperature control from 28 to 32 º C. Post-fermentative maceration with the skins for 8 days. Two pumping over daily until fermentation is complete. During maceration, the frequency of pumping over is decreased as the process progresses, to avoid the extraction of vegetal and bitter characters. AGING: In American oak barrels of 225 l. for 26 months (25 % new cask, 75 % maximum cask of 3 wines). Ruby red, showing tile notes on the rim of the glass; medium-high layer, clean and bright. Intense, fragrant, complex aroma, ripe red fruit, balsamic, vanilla, toasted and light notes of truffle. On the palate it is vigorous, fresh, silky, with a good presence of ripe tannins, developing a great balance and complexity of flavors, strongly perceiving the notes of perfectly integrated red fruit with balsamic, brown, oak and roasted notes. In the aftertaste we find it long, with memories of fruit, spices and cocoa.

Javier San Pedro Ortega He is a native of Laguardia and an oenologist by tradition and vocation. It comes from a family of winegrowers, being the fifth generation of the family that makes their own wines with grapes from their vineyards, since the San Pedro family owns more than 100 hectares of vineyard in the municipality of Laguardia. That boy who, at 5 years old, began his career cleaning his grandfather's cellar, in 2005 he made his first wine, at the age of 17, in his father's cellar. It is in the 2013 vintage, after eight years adding his personal touch to the wines of the family winery, that he decides to undertake his personal project, based on two well-differentiated ranges of wines. On the one hand, the range Wolf cave, which is defined by fun, aromatic and modern wines; and the range Black widow, which aims to recover old vineyards in the area, obtaining the highest quality from each plot. Although we can't forget our wine Anahí, a semi-sweet white created and made in tribute to his mother. This young project soon takes shape and is called Bodegas Javier San Pedro Ortega.
