General information
Teso La Monja is the new project of the Eguren family in Toro after Numanthia Termes with which they seek new approaches to achieve unique Toro wines based on vineyards that have very specific characteristics.
After their triumphal stage at the head of Numanthia-Termes, the Eguren brothers embarked on a new project within the Toro Denomination of Origin with the Teso La Monja Winery. With this new project they have demonstrated that they are capable of obtaining wines of the highest quality, powerful, elegant and with all the character of the land of Toro.
The Bodega Teso La Monja searched within the DO Toro for lands capable of transmitting the maximum minerality, which together with the old pre-phylloxera strains has made them obtain unique wines. These privileged terrains are worked in an efficient and sustainable way, respecting the cycles and biorhythms of the plant, without neglecting the most modern production techniques but always keeping in mind the rhythms of nature.
