Viña Albina Reserva 2005
80% Tempranillo, 15% Mazuelo, 5% Graciano from Cenicero, Sonsierra and Villalba de Rioja.
Classical production of destemmed and crushed grapes with long maceration and fermentation control.
Ageing of 24 to 30 months in American oak barrels, with the appropriate racking.
Very representative of classic Rioja Alta wines. Ruby colour with tile edges, shiny. Elegant in the nose, harmonious aromas with hints of aging and varietal tones. Fine and well constituted in the mouth, with good acidity and polished tannins, very balanced. Complex retro-nasal route with a delicate and persistent fragrance. Good evolution in bottle.
