The long growing season allowed the vegetation to be developed in a balanced way, being well exposed to the solar radiation clusters. With moderate yields, the maturation of our grapes was also slow and leisurely, favoring the perfect development of some very loose clusters. After a staggered and very selective harvest, the grape came to winery in its optimum point of ripeness, with an excellent health and a great balance of its alcohol content, polyphenols and acidity parameters. This harvest was described officially as very good.
80% is Tempranillo and 20% Grenache. The Tempranillo grape comes from the our fincas La Cuesta and Montecillo, 30 years old, located in Fuenmayor y Cenicero. The Garnacha variety comes from old vines planted in glass to 600 m. altitude in Tudelilla (Rioja Baja), adjacent to our ‘Finca La Pedriza’ plots.

Highlights its color, red cherry layer medium high with an intense pinkish edge. On the nose, it presents great intensity with the spicy aromas of black pepper, clove, cinnamon and vanilla that surround some fine notes of Red frutillos outstanding. In the mouth we enjoyed a pleasant structure, balanced acidity and delicate tannins and envelopes. Broad aftertaste, is its round and elegant finish.
