Variety 100% Tempranillo. Elaboration with de-stemmed grapes. Pre-fermentative maceration of 3 days at 13-14º C with long pumping over. On the fourth day the fermentation begins, which lasted about 10 days at a temperature between 25 and 27ºC, preserving the frankness in the primary aromas. It has been 14 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes Vallobera reserve

Cherry red color. On the nose it is harmonious and elegant, with predominance of ripe fruit aromas, mineral notes, and very well assembled wood without standing out. The palate is balanced, powerful, with life ahead, highlighting the noble tannins. Long aftertaste.

Tasting Notes Vallobera aging

In sight it has an attractive cherry red color. On the nose the wine has aromas of ripe fruit, black and mineral spices appear, giving the wine a fine and elegant character. The palate is perfectly structured, full-bodied, with noble tannins, good acidity, tasty, broad and long. It has a long and harmonious aftertaste.

General information

Make a cold prefermentation (around 10ºc) overnight. Then, we collect the tear must obtained from the pressure of the light pressing, simply exerted by gravity. It ferments in a stainless steel tank at a controlled temperature of 13ºC to 16ºC.

Tasting Notes Yoana de Vallobera

Pale pink color. On the nose we find great complexity, red fruits with notes of fresh grapes. A very pleasant acidity that provides freshness on entry into the mouth.

Separate fermentation of each variety. White Tempranillo and Malvasía are brought to the end of it to achieve volume in the mouth. Sauvignon is cut from fermentation looking for reducing sugars and the freshness provided by its acidity. Later coupage obtaining a balanced wine in terms of degree, sugar and acidity

Straw-yellow color. Aromas of stone fruit, lychee and tropical touches. On the palate we are amused by the volume of the wine due to its fresh balance and long drink with a balanced and friendly rebound. Ideal for shusi and foie gras

Selection and marking of the strains whose production convinces us. Elaboration in 3500 l tanks. French oak. Cold maceration for 3 days at 9-10ºC, with long pump-overs. On the 4th day the fermentation begins for 15 days at a controlled temperature (25-27ºC) to preserve the primary aromas. After this, it is kept in the tanks, macerating for 6 days with a daily hatching. Malolactic fermentation in barrels. 15 months in new French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes Finca de Vallobera

On the palate it is powerful, elegant, balanced, meaty and very fruity, with very ripe fruits and the complexities of the wood prevailing. Limited production for a red wine that only comes out on the market in exceptional years.

Plot of 1 ha. planted in 1946 at 680 m. altitude with low production. Elaboration in tanks of 3500 L. of French oak. Cold maceration for 3 days at 9-10º C, with long pumping over. On the 4th day the fermentation begins for 15 days at a controlled temperature (20-23ºC) to preserve the primary aromas. After this, the deposits are kept macerating for 6 days with a daily watering of the hat. Malolactic fermentation in barrels.

Tasting Notes Vallobera Family Collection

Nice cherry red color. Elegant combination of aromas of ripe fruit, spicy notes of aging and mineral tones, with a touch of toast. Perfect union of fruit and wood. Body and power in the mouth, meaty, balanced, with noble tannins, wide and long. Very pleasant aftertaste.
