The Tempranillo variety with which this wine is made belongs in an 80% to the La Maquinilla vineyard, the oldest of our nca La Planta; cultivated at 911 meters of altitude in clay-calcareous soils, with the limestone bedrock one meter from the surface, together with a 20% of grapes from centuries-old vineyards of pebble and sandy soils, in the area of the province of Burgos.

In mid-October, at the optimum point of maturation, the clusters are harvested in 15Kg boxes, then they will go through a selection table and will be destemmed to their cube in stainless steel tanks, where after a few days macerating in cold, they will ferment at a maximum temperature of 27ºC. A 16-month aging in barrels, 60% French oak and 40% American oak, makes it an elegant wine,

Tasting Notes Arzuaga reserve

Clean and bright, with a cherry red color and violet hues. Powerful nose, of high aromatic diversity, with a predominance of ripe red fruits, with spicy touches and balsamic notes, with a roasted finish. Great volume on the palate. Providing smooth sensations and mellow that last over time thanks to its great width and length. The wine in the mouth is a faithful memory of such a complex nose. These connotations give elegance and personality to the wine
