General information
This wine is made from grapes from our best Rioja Alta vineyards. The harvest date is determined with periodic analysis and tasting of the grapes, indicators of the optimal state of maturation. After a careful selection in the vineyard and in the cellar, the grape goes to oak vats where the alcoholic fermentation will take place. It is uncovered in new French oak barrels where malolactic fermentation and aging are carried out for 18 months.
Tasting Notes Baron de ley reserva
Ruby red color. On the nose it surprises for its powerful fruit character assembled with memories of its noble aging, traces of coconut, "toffee" and suggestive undertones. The attack is powerful, developing a feeling of volume and smoothness that leads to a long finish. In the aftertaste the memories return to red fruits in conjunction with notes of scrub.

Organic Rioja wine made from grapes of the Tempranillo and Garnacha Tinta varieties, located in small plots in the town of Badarán planted in 1940 and 2007. Harvested by hand at their optimum ripeness at the end of September and the beginning of October 2015 Vinification is carried out in small production tanks, carrying out a classic alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures of 22-24ºC, with gentle pumping over and daily manual, during the first stages of fermentation. Being able to respect the fresh and fruity aromas of the Garnacha and without maceration to avoid unnecessary extractions, respecting the grape as in a traditional elaboration. After fermentation, we bleed the tanks to extract, by the simple force of gravity, the highest quality wine, helping it later with a traditional crushing of the grape without the need to subject it to pressing.Tasting Notes Martinez Alesanco Ecologico
View: Bright cherry red with garnet reflections. Clean and upper middle layer. Smell: Fresh, aromatic where the aromas of red and black fruits stand out, balsamic, menthol notes, sweet spicy notes and a background of red licorice along with soft toasts. Mouth: In the mouth, it maintains the fruit and the creamy notes, ripe tannin, good acidity and a long finish where joint notes of fruit and barrel come back. Nebro 2015
Finca Villacreces Technical Sheet
General information
The first bibliographic data on the existence of this estate on the banks of the Duero belong to its first inhabitant, the Franciscan friar Pedro de Villacreces, from whom it takes its name. Along with him, a group of clergymen, among whom was San Pedro Regalado, patron saint of Valladolid, settled in that privileged wasteland to devote himself to prayer and cultivation of the land, which already had a small vineyard for your own consumption and that of the nearby monasteries. For several centuries, Villacreces was a retreat center for Franciscan hermits dedicated to reflection and penance, as well as to work in the fields and observe nature. With the arrival of the confiscation of Mendizábal, in 1836, these lands passed into private hands, specifically, to the marquisate of Teodosio Alonso-Pesquera, senator of the kingdom with Alfonso XIII, who shortly afterwards would grant a royal concession for which Finca Villacreces has Duero water rights.Nebro Tasting Notes
