General information
After a mild winter, the vineyard showed very good evolution. Flowering began on June 7 in a favorable climate environment with elevated temperatures. This favored a certain regularity in the process. It rained after flowering in favor of the good formation of the grape.
July was a relatively cool and humid month, conducive to the phenomenon of mineralization, concentrating nitrogen on the vine. This factor can increase the risks of botrytis attack. The veraison began on August 2 and by day 8 it has exceeded 50%. The major green harvest work that was done in late August aimed to advance maturity in order to avoid sensitivity to botrytis at the end of the cycle.
