General information
Selection and marking of the strains whose production convinces us. Elaboration in 3500 l tanks. French oak. Cold maceration for 3 days at 9º-10ºC, with long pump-overs. On the 4th day, the fermentation begins for 15 days at a controlled temperature (25-27ºC) to preserve the primary aromas. After this, it is kept in the tanks, macerating for 6 days with a daily hatching. Malolactic fermentation in barrels.
15 months in new French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes Finca de Vallobera
On the palate it is powerful, elegant, balanced, meaty and very fruity, with very ripe fruits and the complexities of the wood prevailing. Limited production for a red wine that only comes out on the market in exceptional years.
