General information
Bodegas Lecea was born from the passion of a family of winegrowers that has spent more than four generations dedicated to the cultivation of the vine and the production of their own wines. Don Rufino Lecea Blanco, in the 80s, initiated the change. He begins to bottle his wines. He is followed by his son Luis Alberto Lecea, who today remains in charge of the winery and who has managed to produce distinguished and successful wines, combining modernity and tradition. Today, in addition to continuing to focus on the production of a wide range of wines, we bet strong for wine tourism.
The open nature and warmth of all our members, form the perfect combination to learn with us about wines and history during the visit to the winery and its drafts. Throughout the year, we organize numerous enotourist activities in which the visitor can feel like at home while experiencing the tradition firsthand. It is a white wine made from the variety of Viura and Chardonnay in the Rioja denomination of origin, by Bodegas Lecea.
