Tasting Notes Malleolus Valderramiro
The 2015 vintage started with a winter with good water reserves in the subsoil. The spring was warm and dry until the month of June when intense rainfall occurred coinciding with the beginning of flowering. A summer with some well-staggered storm has given way to a very dry autumn.
The harvest was slightly ahead of the usual dates, but the analytical, organoleptic characteristics and the proper balance of the berries was ideal, allowing the harvest to be harvested in the optimum state of ripeness. The wines of this vintage, rated as excellent , they have a good coloring intensity, important fruit notes on the nose and a high tannic potential in the mouth with sweet tannins that indicate the good phenolic maturation of the berries. A vintage reminiscent of the exceptional 2005 vintage.
