From our Finca El Estanque, a vineyard of more than 60 hectares, we have selected three small plots where vines of more than 35 years survive in a clay-calcareous soil of exceptional quality for the cultivation of the vine. There the maturations are slow and homogeneous obtaining grapes with a perfect balance between acidity, sugar content and phenolic maturity.
Made in stainless steel tanks. All varieties are vinified separately. After a slight de-stemming and crushing, the must macerates in contact with the skins. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 30ºC for eighteen days. The three wines obtained are assembled before being put into the barrel.

General informationPerrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé is an exceptional cuvée from the prestigious Maison collection. Made exclusively from excellent vintages, this wine is the fruit of the generosity of nature. Spring was plagued by late frosts that decimated much of the region's Crus in April, although fortunately the Perrier-Jouët vineyards were unscathed. In June, the weather turned much warmer, allowing flowering to come to fruition during the last two weeks of the month. In July, despite being peppered with violent occasional storms, the entire region was plunged into a heat wave that did not cease until August, when the weather was cooler and wetter. Nature finally decided to be benevolent and September brought the perfect conditions for the ripening of the grapes to be completed before harvest.
Tasting notes Belle EpoqueVIEW Pale pink mantle with notes of orange and a mousse that stands out for its liveliness.NOSE Strong yet delicate aromas of red fruits (currant, raspberry and pomegranate) combined with blood orange and grapefruit, followed by nuances of nuts, brioche, honey and caramel.TASTE The attack is fresh and lively as well as resounding. In the mouth, it is intense, generous and powerful, although delicate, and highlights the purity of the fruit, its great finesse and its long and persistent finish.
Vidau red 2005
Technical Sheet Bodegas Escudero[columns] [span6] Type of Wine: Red Brand: Vidau red Grape variety: Vidau Bottle type: Bordeaux Capacity (cl): 75 Graduation (% vol.): 14 [/ span6] [span6] Warehouse: Squire Regions: Denomination Rioja Barrel type: American oak Permanence in Barrel: 10 months Operating temperature : 16º-18º C. Population: Pradejon [/ span6] [/ columns]
The grapes come from the “Cuesta la Reina” estate owned by the winery with 80-year-old vineyards. The manual harvest was carried out in the month of October. No pumping system was used in the process, only gravity so as not to damage the fruit. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts from the vineyard itself, controlling the temperature. The total duration of the maceration was 32 days. Once uncubated, in December, the wine went to French Allier oak and Romanian oak barrels where it was racked 5 times.
It was bottled in June (2 years later), remaining in the bottle for 12 months before being put on sale. With the word Vidau our ancestors called those farms with vines of different varieties. One word, a concept that Bodegas Escudero updates from the past and projects into the future. From the best selection of the most mature grapes from these old vineyards, a grateful and sincere wine emerges, very complex and very natural. A wine that sinks into the roots of tradition and evokes in time the memory of everything that lasts.
