The winery is located in Samaniego, the heart of Rioja Alavesa, in the shelter of the Sierra de Cantabria, where most of its inhabitants are dedicated to viticulture. Its 20 hectares of vineyards, with an average age of 50 years, benefit from a clay-calcareous soil ideal for growing vines. Production: fermentation with destemmed grapes. Tasting Notes Pascual Larrieta reserve
Cherry red color, medium-high layer and with brick hues, clean and bright. Nose with good intensity and complexity. The scents of compote fruit stand out along with balsamic, wood, vanilla and toasted notes. Good entry into the mouth. In the passage through the same it is round, well balanced, with very good amplitude and with silky tannin. In retroolfaction the aromas found in the nose are again manifested. Long in the mouth and with a tasty and pleasant finish.
