Señorío de Cuzcurrita is the wine made from the vintage within the walled enclosure of the Castle and other vineyards located in the surroundings. It is the one that represents in a genuine way the personality of the wines of Cuzcurrita.
All the vineyards are old, dry and cultivated in a glass. In the veraison, bunch thinning is usually done, adjusting the amount of grape per vine with its leaf surface, at a rate of 1.5 to 2.0 m2 per vine.
Señorío de Cuzcurrita is a wine that has fermented at 30 º with long maceration in 15,000 liter tanks of excellent geometry. Of remarkable cherry red color, with an intense nose to ripe red fruits, and spicy notes coming from the barrel. Soft and enveloping tannins in the mouth that leave a long and persistent finish.
