Tasting Notes of Vega Sicilia Valbuena
Deep cherry red with cardinal trim. Bright and alive. Deep nose with very ripe red fruits. Wood is present without being predominant.
In the mouth it is complex, fleshy and with structure. Wood aging is perfectly combined with the base fruit. Two characteristics make it different, the first is that there is no hint of greenery and the second is its completely velvety structure.

Bodegas Riojanas controls more than 300 hectares. One of the best vineyards in Cenicero, San Vicente de la Sonsierra and towns close to them. The grape that is harvested par excellence in Rioja is Tempranillo, but Bodegas Riojanas also has one of the largest extensions dedicated to Mazuelo and Graciano within the Denomination, varieties that provide greater personality to the wines it makes. The different vineyard plots are based on clay-calcareous soils, of Miocene origin, ideal for producing the highest qualities. At the beginning of October, once the summer heat has passed, the harvest is carried out, which is more than just simple grape picking. The choice of the optimum moment for harvesting, the productivity of the strains, the selection of the grape batches destined to make the different types of wine in the winery ... Everything will influence the characteristics and final quality of the wines obtained. The grape batches from old vineyards are collected in boxes, to prevent the pressure produced by the weight from breaking the grapes and arriving in the best conditions at the winery. Once there, they undergo a meticulous manual selection, bunch by bunch, thus making the wines that are the highest quality exponent of Bodegas Riojanas.Tasting notes Viña Albina gran reserva

Organic Rioja wine made from grapes of the Tempranillo and Garnacha Tinta varieties, located in small plots in the town of Badarán planted in 1940 and 2007. Harvested by hand at their optimum ripeness at the end of September and the beginning of October 2015 Vinification is carried out in small production tanks, carrying out a classic alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures of 22-24ºC, with gentle pumping over and daily manual, during the first stages of fermentation. Being able to respect the fresh and fruity aromas of the Garnacha and without maceration to avoid unnecessary extractions, respecting the grape as in a traditional elaboration. After fermentation, we bleed the tanks to extract, by the simple force of gravity, the highest quality wine, helping it later with a traditional crushing of the grape without the need to subject it to pressing.Tasting Notes Martinez Alesanco Ecologico
