Variety: 80% Tempranillo and 20% Graciano.
Aging: For 12 months 50% of the blend remains in American oak for further refinement in the cellar for 3 months.
Colour: cherry red, elegant and complex.
Nose: Outstanding aromas of berries and a floral bouquet very well integrated with nuances of cedar and toasted oak.
Taste: Vibrant and expressive, medium-bodied, with hints of sweet vanilla, typical of oak ageing. We find notes of cherry, redcurrant, coconut and fresh raspberries, which capture the palate, with a long and persistent finish.
Marriage: Iberian ham, Italian food, pasta, pizza, grilled vegetables, pâté and especially Rioja-style potatoes.
